wenn dies für jemanden stimmt dann für Roland Schwarz aka Raul Irie.
von wenigen menschen in meinem leben hab ich so viel über musik gelernt wie von ihm, und erst durch ihn habe ich einen zugang zu house, disco und nujazz bekommen, dafür werde ich ihm ewig dankbar sein.
und ich denke nach gerne, an die lange zeit zurück, die wir in freundschaft verbunden waren. an viele gespräche und diskussionen über music und partys. eine zeit die mir viel wert war, und die ich immer noch vermisse.
aber wie sangen schon die byrds:

For over a decade, Roland Schwarz is spinning his well selected vinyls across Europe. Guaranteed to have the girls jumping and the boys bumping to his sets with plentiful bass lines and boogie.
Roland Schwarz`s Dj sets are a long journey through funk, jazz,latin, mixed up with a sexy touch of house and breakbeats.
Already well known throughout Austria by his regular appearence on national radio FM4 and his residence for Vienna's popular H.A.P.P.Y. deephouse Club.
In the late 90ies he founded the widely respected club series "one night in the disco". Beeing able to set new standards for house events in Linz, he introduced guests like Jori Hullkonnen, Dj Deep, Fred Everything, Calum Walker, etc.
He teamed up with Parov Stelar to launch the recordlabel Etage Noir, where he released his remix "super eight" for Parov Stelar´s KissKiss EP.
so steht es zumindest in seiner künstlerbeschreibung seines stammlabels etage noir records.
etage noir ist dann gleich auch mal ein gutes stichwort, denn in den letzten monaten wurde es immer stiller um dj-acts, besonders in oberösterreich sind die sehr rahr gesäht. produzieren wurde immer wichtiger.
da trifft es sich ganz gut dass in den nächsten tagen auch sein neuer release (ein remix für dinning room auf etage) erscheint.
auf seinem myspace profil kann man in den remix bereits hineinhören.
